Jars can be stored at room temperature for up to 10 days, in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks, and in the freezer for up to 3 months
Sugar Chateau Desserts is not an allergen-free environment. Dairy, soy, peanut butter, eggs, gluten, and coconut oil are some of the known allergens we use. Common kitchen equipment and utensils are used in all cake assembly and decorating.
Some decorations including, but not limited to, sugar crystals and jimmies/sprinkles are prepared and packaged using machines that may come into contact with wheat, gluten, eggs, dairy, peanuts, soy, or tree nuts.
Most of our cake-in-a-jar flavors are nut-free, except where labeled. However, as stated above, all jars are made in a facility with nuts and may contain traces of nuts.

Cakes In A Jar are baked fresh. Orders placed Sunday through Saturday, will ship the following week on Monday or Tuesday. At this time, we can only ship Mondays and Tuesdays. We ship using USPS Priority Mail unless Express shipping is chosen. Orders can take 2-3 business days to receive. Due to COVID-19, orders may take longer to reach their destination.

We can customize your cupcake jars with top labels or wrap-around labels. The price to customize depends on several factors such as quantity and level of customization.

Unfortunately, we are not able to ship to APO addresses” Do you ship other items besides cakes in a jar?” Unfortunately, we can only ship our Cakes In A Jar. All other items cannot be shipped, but are made to order and available for customers in the Rock Hill/Charlotte Area.
At Sugar Chateau Desserts, we take great pride in our products. We want all of our customers to be happy with their purchases. Since all of our baked products are made from scratch by real people, sometimes mistakes can happen. If we caused a problem with your order, we will do all we can to fix it. To qualify for a refund, we need to find out about a problem within 2 days of your purchase and we need enough detail to address the problem. If you discover there was a mistake on your end of a shipping or delivery order, such as an incomplete or incorrect address, please call us right away. In some instances, we can fix the delivery problem before your products are shipped. Once our products leave our facility, it is more difficult to solve problems and many delivery and handling issues are out of our control. We will do all that we can to make you a happy customer, but in some instances, we will be unable to issue a refund. If there is any problem with your Sugar Chateau Desserts shipped product or with a delivery, please call us as soon as possible at (803) 526-7895. We must be notified of any delivery issues within 5 business days of a shipping date to be able to resolve the problem.
We cannot offer refunds for the following circumstances:
  • An incorrect or incomplete shipping address
  • Weather related delivery issues
  • Cakes that have become unusable due to a recipient’s failure to follow instructions provided with the cake delivery
  • Cakes not removed from packaging on time (i.e. packages left at an address when someone is out of town) Delivery problems beyond our control.
